Worm
stems from an apple
Pews web across the chapel
Sticky centers and sermons that baffle
Waiting
to be spun or struck
Pupils searching for dumb luck
Netting hangs strong in each corner
Didn't anyone warn her?
Jumping off is insane
Try and explain
Stitches
criss-xx-cross my wound
Endings pocking and itching too soon
Flesh enduring the scabbing and healing
Picking and pulling unravel a meaning
Veins
channel and regenerate
Connecting the dots of fate
Recover nerves that were severed
Sensations that can't be measured
Tattoos
hide my scars of braces
Outlines fill with ink, revealing faces
Slipping down the silk threads of this world
Souls of prey tempt me to do as I'm told
Nothing
clings to this oozing mess
So I jump, but not to my death
Ready to release and begin again
This maze of rings has no end
