Beyond
the forest
I followed the chorus
Eyes rapidly searching the light
My watering can gripped tight
Rising
like a glacier
In an unlikely part of nature
Ready to inspect
what I may not expect
White
coat cloaking me as I stand
Fireflies unite to hold my hand
Push through the glass door once more
Slip into spontaneous lore
Tool
stations to analyze
Past test were only alibis
Soil parts for burnt seeds
Seeping green reaches for their feed
Colorful
blooms
Replace pots of doom
Butterflies slash open their cocoons
Moths radiate the moon
Snapdragons
roar open
Water lilies no longer shake
Floating peacefully like nothing was spoken
New life begins to wake
As
I turn the dark corner
The sun beats warmer
Ready to unveil, the shadow of my tail
This garden will prevail
